About the Position:

Exciting opportunities are now available for 2 part time Pharmacy Assistants to join our team at United Chemists Alice Springs. As a Pharmacy Assistant you will work across all departments of our store and will focus on making our customers feel welcome and meeting their shopping experience needs. You will do this by:

  • Providing an exceptional shopping experience at every interaction.
  • Finalise sales and wish a warm return at registers.
  • Gain and maintain product knowledge to assist customers to make the correct purchase for their needs.
  • Acknowledge customers at every opportunity.
  • Promptly attend to customers expressed and unexpressed needs.

About You:

Your previous experience within a Pharmacy environment will be highly favourable however this is not essential. With your positive attitude and high attention to detail, you will thrive in a team environment where no two days are the same.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have a bubbly, bright personality, can work as part of a team and individually, be customer focused enabling you to build strong customer relationships.

If you possess the following, then we would love to hear from you!

  • Previous retail experience and excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of Pharmacy products - highly regarded. 
  • Dedicated work ethic
  • Ability to work well in a team and autonomously
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business
  • Eye for detail and accuracy 
  • S2 & S3 trained applicants or holders of certificates I - III in Community Pharmacy highly regarded.
