About the Position: 

A fantastic opportunity is available for an energetic, highly organised and hands on Retail Manager to drive our dynamic team to success. As the leader of the retail front, the Retail Manager primary responsibility will be to drive the front of shop operations as well as providing leadership to the retail team while managing the sales, day to day operations and profitability of the store.

 

Key activities in your daily schedule include:

  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience in your store through your hands-on and inspiring leadership style.
  • Using your flair for visual merchandising to create appealing displays and maximise sales.
  • Driving sales and controlling store expenses ensuring profitable store operations.
  • Monitoring and driving the meeting of budgets and forecasts.

About You:

If you have the drive and enthusiasm for achieving budget results through exceptional people management and leadership, as well as experience working in a dynamic Retail environment then this is the role for you. 

 

To be successful in applying for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a retail pharmacy management role
  • Genuine passion for customer service with the ability to manage time effectively
  • Flexibility to work across 7 day roster 8am-8pm when required
  • Strong understanding of financial reports and cost control, including wages and shrinkage
  • Strong administration skills combined with strong people management skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading a large team with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Willing to undergo further training and development
  • Strong pharmacy industry knowledge and product knowledge
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An ability to interact proactively with management and staff at all levels of the organisation in order to drive sales.
  • Have strong computer literacy skills within a Microsoft Office environment.
  • Confident with proven ability to reach sales targets
  • Ability to meet, drive and exceed KPI's for yourself, your team and the store.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and resolve issues as they arise
