About the Role

We seek a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our team at Priceline Pharmacy Marion. As a Stock Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the inventory and ensuring the availability of pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products for our valued customers. Your organisational skills and meticulous approach will contribute to the smooth operation of our Pharmacy. You will be working with the Retail and Pharmacist Managers to ensure the organisation of the store whilst meeting and exceeding our customer service expectations.

 

To be successful in this role, you will be required to work as part of a team, individually, and be customer focused. Your duties will include

  • Stock control
  • Receiving and unpacking the stock
  • Merchandising of the front shop
  • Stock counts and stock adjustments
  • Coordinate stock movement from storage areas onto shelves/promotional displays.
  • Ensuring proper stock rotation and adherence to expiration dates
  • Collaborate with suppliers and place orders promptly
  • Collaborate with staff and anticipate demand
  • Maintain efficient stock management systems
  • Maintaining the storeroom, keeping it tidy and organised
  • Entering invoices and completing stock takes

 

About You

You must be computer literate with good knowledge and experience of the Pharmacy's POS systems and general retail operations. To be successful in applying for this opportunity, you will ideally possess the following:

  • Prior experience handling stock in a retail environment - desirable
  • Excellent customer service, sales and merchandising skills
  • Exceptional communication, organisational and motivational skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities
  • Demonstrate initiative and strong work ethic
  • Present yourself in a professional manner
  • Board knowledge of computer programs like Word and Excel
  • Provide positive communication and professional support to other employees
  • Assist the team and serve customers when required
  • Pharmacy or Retail experience - preferred
  • Willingness to learn and grow with the business
